Visual Editor is hanging

When testing VE on a new/empty wiki, it has worked pretty reliably. Now, with the addition of CirrusSearch/Elasticsearch and after importing the EVA wiki, it repeatedly hangs.

Below are two screenshots of the page Test2. The first is after clicking "Edit" and VE successfully opening the edit view. The second is an example of when VE hangs.

I noticed an error involving imagesLoaded in the console, so I ran updateExtensions.php to get 0.2.1 for MasonryMainPage. After this, VE seems to work better. On simple pages it is loading. Even on pages like Meeting Minutes, it is loading. So I tried a complex page like the ISS EVA MAINT 1 lesson plan page. The "loading bar" gets to "100%", but then I get "Error loading data from server: HTTP 0. Would you like to retry?"

The more that I have run installs and tested VE, I think the hanging "progress bar" and the "HTTP 0" error are due to either a network misconfiguration or Parsoid not running. I would say this issue generally does not happen now and this could be closed.
