As I understand with the various pages on which MagicaVoxel is on varoious websites, MagicaVoxel is open-source, but then, where's the code?

It is not. Perhaps some people sharing the news about it presumed so because the project is hosted on GitHub, but there are many private repos on GitHub and they do not have to be open source. It's free to use, but that's about it.

@ephtracy, Will MagicaVoxel be open-source at some moment of time? Are there plans for this?

I read on a website that all of you are going to send me your next paycheck. Is this true? Are there any plans for you all to send me your next paychecks? Why not? I don't understand why you would not want to send me your paychecks? Is there a chance that you might do it in the future? Are you at least considering it?

@JohnSlaughter That analogy makes no sense since the software is available for use for free and I see no signs of monetization anywhere.

I think MagicaVoxel could be a paid software and open-source too, just like Aseprite. Open-source could help it getting better.
