This release includes tools for radiomics quantitation and also a few tools for image processing and visualisation.
The evaluation of radiomic features follows the definitions of the Image Biomarker Standardisation Initiative v1.6 (https://arxiv.org/abs/1612.07003). Quantitation is based on 3D evaluation of the imaging data, and this implementation is format-independent, i.e. the functions require 3D voxel coordinates x and corresponding uptake y, irrespective of the imaging protocol and standard used (Dicom, NIfTI, ...) - imaging data need to be imported and the x and y information extracted prior to using this package.
Image processing tools include in particular 3D meshing of VOI masks (cf. analyze.mesh() and related functions) and trilinear approximation (cf. function trilin.approx()).
