Grace Hopper

Fetches RESTFUL apis and presents information about upcoming tech events within the Orange County and LA County area geared towards women in tech.

Grace Hopper is a website that pulls meetup information from the Meetup API and uses the Google Maps API to show the exact location of each event. The application pulls the latest tweets that have the hashtag #womenintech to display onto the landing page using the Twitter API. Additionally, the image gallery shows relevant pictures of women in tech meetup groups utilizing the Flickr API.

This project was originally created in a 48 hour coding hackathon.
