Purpose

Add a relation between a music entity and a contributor in SMD

Description

The user wants to add a relation between a music entity and a contributor. The music entity the user selects to create the relation from can be any type of music entity, for example an album, song, work, artist, composer, conductor, performer. The user finds the contributor (artist, composer, conductor, performer) which he wants to add a relation to through the "Find music entity" use case.

When adding the relation the actor is asked to specify the type of relation, if the initial music entity was something else than a contributor this can be:

• artist
• composer
• conductor
• performer If the initial music entity was a contributor, the type is instead things like:
• similar to
• follower
• influenced by After adding the relation it's stored in SMD and can be used later on when exploring music.
