Stage Announcer is a feature added in the 0.5.5 update, it allows you to customize stage select sound depending on ID.

Setting up

Enable Stage Announcer in the ini then open cfg\stageAnn.dat.

To set them up, you will need 4 things.

  • Stage ID
  • Sound Group ID
  • Sound Index ID

Example line:

0 100 1

-1 is random stage ID, to get stage IDs simply subtract 1 from mugen stage name (Stage 1 = id 0).
