i am interesting to show a list about all pads...
How can i do that ? API permit that ?
Mysql select can do that ?
How delete documents ?
sorry, i have found only the mysql method.
I think API permit that
ok i have see it thanks.
I am interesting about api
Why does the API not support listing top-level pads that are not in any group?
I think t should be possible to list all pads through the HTTP API, unless someone can convince me it's rubbish.
I have given some thought to this list-all-pads request, and I think the best way to implement this would be to add a listAllGroups(HTTP) API method, which would give you all groupIDs, which you can then use to list the pads of each group. (see #948, for this idea)
However, this doesn't cover the global-level pads that don't belong to any group, so I suggest to add a pseudo group, that may be used to retrieve a list of all global-level pads. (see #947)
These two together should allow people to list all pads of the universe. :)
and I do not understand why we haven't (yet) a well-written plugin (based on native node -- without the need of Java, PHP, ...) for pad administration. Is it a question of funding (donations and so on) ?
I am currently working on an interface to administrate all these things; it's not quite easy as it depends on how you want to use; we need to have a per-user admin-interface; because of that I can not pull all the groups and then dig my way through it; therefore I have to use ajax/JS to hide everything;
I will provide a solution for admins and one for per-user situation. How easily that can be put into a plugin I dont know.
Really great that you guys are working on an administration page, but for now I would be greatly helped with a simple example code that I could insert into the index.html that simply lists all the pads. I can imagine one of you has that laying around.
I'm available to do some freelance if needs be. I don't have that code laying around
ueberDB is a real show-stopper here...
I could swear that at similar issue has already been closed, how many are there for "List all pads"? :-/
