    Fix the "modification of read-only value" errors from non-threaded Pe…

    …rls.

    Its like this. For some reason lost to the mists of time, bless will not bless
    a reference to a read only value. So bless \"foo", $class isn't supposed to work.
    This is just what our meta objects do. For some unknown reason, this doesn't
    trip when threads are turned on. Possibly something to do with @_ magic.

    The work around is to take a reference to the reference. Its stupid and
    probably slow.

    A better thing to do might be to take advantage of field hashes to store
    the meta object instead of recreating it every time.

    UNIVERSAL::mo is going to be a bit more difficult to fix.

    Separate the perl5i DateTime subclasses.

    schwern authored
    This allows perl5i::1 and perl5i::2 to live together.

    Make commify() and group_digits() take their options as a hash ref.

    schwern authored
    Matches our plans for the rest of the perl5i interface, options go in as a final hash ref argument.

    The latest autobox has fixes which lets the new taint stuff work.

    schwern authored
    Calling autoboxed methods on $_[0] proved problematic before 2.60.

    Fix the test so numbers and strings work.

    schwern authored
    I think this is the correct behavior. Numbers and strings generally copy in Perl so they
    would have different IDs.

    Implement $obj->mo->id

    schwern authored
    Scalars and numbers are broken in that they are not unique or repeatable.

    Add commify() and group_digits().

    schwern authored
    While group_digits() is locale aware, it seems many of the locales only set
    the monetary versions of thousands_sep and grouping. At least on OS X.
    So it may be useful to have a "money" flag to make use of them.

    Uhh, we never implemented $obj->mo->id.

    Also use the suggested $thing->mc->class syntax.

    Make $scalar->mo->is_tainted and friends work.

    Unfortunately, it breaks the autobox magic in weird ways. Like
    tests will pass from the command line but not from prove. Or autoboxing
    will work on strings but not numbers.
Something went wrong with that request. Please try again.
