Microstocks

Microstocks is an arcade resource gathering game written in Javascript. The object of the game is to try and make the most money by selling high and buying low! This came about while I was reading "Javascript: The Good Parts" by Douglas Crockford (great stuff, I recommend it). Initially, it was going to just be a way to generate stock names, but I haven't stopped exploring javascript. This is the result.

Getting Started

If you want a local copy of Microstocks, just fork the repository, and set this up in a folder somewhere on your computer, then open the index.html file in any browser.

Note: The SCSS file is optional to take, if you'd like to use the CSS preprocessor; if not, you can just take the style.css file instead.
