Thanks for getting me back to partially fixed!

I have figured out where things break down, step-wise, anyway:

  1. Change comic to wanted (check)
  2. Mylar sends nzb to Sab and properly names comic (check)
  3. ComicRN or Mylar creates directory in designated destination folder (check)
  4. Sab downloads comic to comic directory (check)
  5. ComicRN.py or Mylar moves comic to designated destination directory (fail)
  6. ComicRN.py removes "useless directory" (fail)
  7. ComicRN.py reports that it removed "useless" directory (check)

I peeked into the designated Sab "comic" directory and the comic titles are in there, just not moved!

The ComicRN.py script is at v1.02.b now - so you might want to upgrade the copy that you're running.

Based on the fact that it's attempting to do all of those things and cannot - I'm going to guess that if it's not fixed by going to 1.02.b (which it may not), it's most likely a permission problem. Make sure that the user running SABnzbd has full authority to the directory for read/write/delete ability. At the point that it's at, it's not a problem with Mylar - either with the ComicRN.py script or with SAB (permissions).

I'll try it! Don't give up on me!

Quick question: "comdir=" is where Sab "comic" directory, right? Not the final destination of the comics?

Hey Bro, according to the text in https://github.com/evilhero/mylar/blob/master/sabnzbd/ComicRN.py it is still 1.02 a?

Let me know about that version thing!

I just did this:

*created a folder in the same place that couch potato and sickbeard work just fine
*made sure permissions were good

Same problems.

I dont' understrand, if there is a permissions issue, why mylar can create a directory but not put a file in it?

ComDir is the final destination where you want the script to move the comics to.

The version is 1.02.b :)

If the user running the program Mylar is different than the user that created the folder, it might cause some permission issues with creation

Ohhh sh.. brb.

Dude that was it! I could have sworn that was asking for the location of the Sab comics folder. It now works great. Thank you! You might want consider wording it something like "final comic destation folder" or something. Thank you!
