A bookmarklet that makes the selected text easier to read by "dumbing it down." This means replacing difficult words with easier words and removing information deemed unnecessary.
This is a work-in-progress and currently doesn't do anything.
Add a bookmark to your bookmarks bar with the URL:

- Select text that you want to dumb down
- Click the bookmarklet you made
To see information about the motivation of this project, please refer to: Lower the Barrier
- Extract out the content from a particular page
- Perform the replacement of difficult words with easier ones
- Insert it back into the page
