Context

TileSprites are currently not IDrawable's or Sprites but merely a lookup to a Sprite in a SpriteSheet for use in a TileMap. This makes it difficult to do dynamic drawing effects like fog of war, or other lighting effects.

Proposal

There are a few options I can think of right now we can consider:

  • Make TileSprites an IDrawable
  • Add some notable IDrawable features
  • Expose the underlying Sprite for manipulation

@eonarheim eonarheim added the feature label Jun 19, 2018

@eonarheim eonarheim changed the title from TileSprite are confusingly named to TileSprites are confusingly named Jun 19, 2018
