Found: 4.2.2
Ext.NET forum thread: dropdown reset

The problem was introduced on undocumented changes between ExtJS 6.0.2 and 6.2.0. The reset() method (Ext.form.field.Text.reset()) no longer existed and also its Ext.form.field.Text.applyEmptyText() method was removed.

The forum thread contains links for both codes on 6.0.2 and 6.2.0 from the ExtJS documentation.

Will not mark this as a sencha bug cause, although it was caused by a change in their side, it was just Ext.NET code which didn't adapt to undocumented breaking changes introduced between ExtJS versions.
