High CPU usage when using ProxyCommand #1080

It looks like the fix for the ProxyCommand hang on Fabric's exit has a side effect: Fabric now reliably eats 100% CPU after it runs a command on a host that needs ProxyCommand. This CPU usage continues until Fabric exits, even if you're not going to run any commands on this host.

I confirm, same bug for me, mostly visible on scp/put.
Is it related to #312 ?

This is probably paramiko/paramiko#414 in action - once it's merged there and released, updating Paramiko should hopefully fix it. Please follow that ticket, thanks!

Just merged to Paramiko, FWIW. Will be out in the 1.13.x and newer lines.
