In this case, mostly: changelog entry, w/ your name in it; base it off the 1.6 branch, not master, as this is basically a bug. thanks! |

template_dir seems to be used only for jinja2 templates.
if template_dir is set and jinja2=False templates load always from CWD.
Fix to load templates from given location also for non jinja2 templates.
