I often need to choose reboot from the KDE menu at least twice before I can actually reboot as I'm told 'Log out cancelled by /cadence.py'.

The easiest way I've found to reproduce this, as it doesn't happen every time Cadence is loaded and I try to reboot, is this:

1 - Load cadence (under KXStudio / KDE)
2 - Click on 'Switch Master'
3 - Try to reboot using the KDE menu

Reboot should fail and the 'Log out cancelled' message should appear instead.

That's great news!

Is this fix already in the latest Cadence repo packages? I just updated now
and Cadence was one of the updates.

This has long bee the most annoying Cadence bug for me so I'll be happy to
see the end of it!

Thanks F!

The upcoming cadence version 1:0.8.1+git20140713 will have this fix.
Should be available as update very soon
