Logo source unable to convert TXT File (Failed to load / convert image source)

so I have a logo section of config file for fastfetch as follows:

All functions work outside of the specified logo when using --show-errors it lists Logo: Failed to load / convert the image source when using "type": as auto, file and file-raw

trying to use example .txt files from the repository do not work either while .icon files still manage to work.

I tried solutions listed in:
#1724 and #1191 (as much as I could find) to no success

any help would be appreciated.

I couldn't seem to figure out any way to fix it through deleting every file to do with fastfetch and it still wouldn't work so I have built from source replacing the default and it works that way.
