There's a few places in the document, specifically about feathers-authentication that doesn't match up with how to actually use the module.

  1. Success and failure redirects

The docs say if you pass false like:

  successRedirect: false

then success and/or failure redirects will be disabled. The same goes for cookies. However when setting false, this error is thrown:

Error: 'successRedirect' must be provided to successfulLogin() middleware
  1. ID field

The documentation says the default id field is _id but whenever I don't configure that option and then authenticate, all I get back is a token. If I explicitly specify _id, then I get back the token and the user id. But the docs say I should be getting back a data object of the user object, not just the user id.

Disregard all of this completely. Turns out something was way out of sync with my npm package and even though "I thought" I updated, I was on version 0.5.
