Seems like some of this might exist, already. I'm planning on aggregating it all out into the Guides section of the docs, since it doesn't really qualify as API docs.

Are you planning to organize it so people can cut and paste working code from it? I think that would be most productive for many users.

More information on oAuth has been added in the new v4 guide. The oAuth API documentation also shows how to authenticate with an existing oAuth token.
