Right now messages do get emitted when the backend awards badges. The frontend doesn't emit any badges when it awards a badge by invitations. This means that those awards don't show up in data{nommer, grepper}, they don't popup in the websockets jam, and they don't make it to #fedora-fedmsg.

We should add that.

This requires:

  • Adding the code to tahrir. This should look just like the fedbadges message so fedmsg.meta doesn't have to tell them apart.
  • Adding endpoints in production/staging to /etc/fedmsg.d/endpoints.py
  • Adding x509 certs for the web frontend nodes.
