Bug: Items are opening with single click on Home page

Description

Even if the setting "Open items with a single click" is turned off, the items in the Home page are being opened when single clicking on them.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Go to Settings, Files and folders, ensure Open items with a single click is turned off.
2. Open a new Home page.
3. Single click on any drive.
4. The drive opens, instead of only being selected, as per the setting.

Notes:

1. This happens only on the Home page, not on other folders.
2. Because of this, you cannot select a drive and have the Info Pane open to show you details about the selected drive. I think this would be very useful to show the Info Pane with details such as Format, Used, Free, Total info for a drive.

Thanks for the report, this is intended as you can't select on the home page, see #9737 (comment) for more information

I think this would be very useful to show the Info Pane with details such as Format, Used, Free, Total info for a drive

You can open a drive and not select anything to see this

We are looking into revamping the home page to be more like a folder (support for selection, sorting, layouts etc), but until then, this is intentional.
