What's an idiomatic way to do nested paths that hide outer layers? #153

A CRUD scenario:

  • /resource/1/ displays the resource
  • /resource/create/ this is fine because this is on the same level as the id
  • /resource/1/edit/ this however should hide the display page (and of course the create page) and instead show the edit page.

Intuitively, I tried setting the page-id to empty (like this: page:{id: ''}), but it doesn't seem to work:

<div data-bind="page: {id:'resource'}">
    resource
    <div data-bind="page: {id:'create'}">
        create
    </div>
    <div data-bind="page: {id:'?', nameParam: resourceId}">
        projectId
        <div data-bind="page: {id:''}">
            display
        </div>
        <div data-bind="page: {id:'edit'}">
            edit
        </div>
    </div>
</div>
