Project restored but still showing PROJECT_SOFT_DELETED - Firestore deleted, Auth broken

My Firebase project was deleted by someone and I restored it, but:

1. Firebase Auth returns PROJECT_SOFT_DELETED error — users cannot log in
2. Firestore database is deleted — all collections and documents are gone
3. Firebase Storage appears to be working fine

What I tried

• Restored the project via Firebase Console
• Waited 2+ days but Firestore data has not returned
• Auth API still returns PROJECT_SOFT_DELETED

Request

Can the Firebase team check if the Firestore data and Auth user records
can be recovered at the infrastructure level?
Is there a way to fully restore the project to its previous state?

Hi @sonermezgitci, sorry to hear you’re encountering this issue. The firebase-tools repository is for bugs related to the Firebase CLI, and so isn’t the best place to handle issues related to project restoration.

Please reach out to Firebase Support team, they should be able to help check if the services state can be restored. I'll go ahead and close this.
