It would be nice to have vim text objects in vi mode. See also here.

There's a lot of stuff it would be nice to have in vi mode. But I think we need to support repetitions (pressing a number before a command) before we even consider something more advanced like text objects.

There's no hurry. It might be interesting in the distant future. For the moment, I'm frequently using the . key in budspencer theme.

It would be really nice to be able to ci" to change within quotes in vi mode... One day!

@leoauri For now you can use Alt-e or Alt-v to edit the commandline in your $EDITOR.
