Recently, debian introduced a new apt frontend,
apt
. This frontend is designed to be simpler for end users than the other offerings and includes such default features as coloring and progress bars. Due to the relative low complexity of the command, it was quite simple to create completions for it, especially given similarity to the preexisting apt-get and aptitude completions. This addresses issue #1945.
