I get an immediate flash of this while loading the site:

A couple simple fixes:

  1. Remove text and have just a blank page with the same background-color as the Elm app
  2. Pre-render the content above the fold. Some React pipelines can do this, not sure about Elm can yet.

This is one of those critical issues I was talking about.
It's being fixed by elm-pages, see dillonkearns/elm-pages#42
