Safari Magnet Handler

Safari Extension to handle Magnet and .torrent URLs to remote torrent webservers. Official page of the Safari Extension Gallery https://extensions.apple.com/details/?id=com.jc.magnethandler-29PNV8H833

INSTALLATION

Install this extension just downloading it and opening on OS X.

CONFIGURATION

  1. Go to Safari preferences.
  2. Go to Extensions tab.
  3. Set the parameters as you like. NOTE: "Installation directory" needs the / before everything. like "/rutorrent" without quotes

Only for utorrent 5. You have to put the username and password Default user is admin No default password Default port is 8080

USE

Click on a web link with magnet or .torrent url inside. The link needs the magnet to be in the href.
