Whatever is the reason behind this, I'm thankful since it's really difficult to spell @clintbellanger's name as a non-native speaker. BTW is he still actively working on this?

It was actually his idea in the first place to make the change. Both of us agreed that it's more fair to other contributors to keep the Flare repos under a separate organization.

Clint is not actively working on the flare-game content as far as I know. However, he recently pushed a commit to his own Flare-based project, so I supposed that's what he's up to..

Yeah I'm no longer involved with day-to-day development. I've been experimenting with a new Flare art core for a while, and I think it'll be appealing to other Flare modders once it's ready.

Thank you guys for the clarification and the work that bring me the gaming childhood that I never had. I'm just curious, while @clintbellanger seems to work on private projects and commits less here (which indicates that he works elsewhere), the effort that @dorkster put on the game alone is great and regular. @dorkster what do you do for a living. You don't need to answer if you don't feel comfortable doing so, but in case you do, I might have some clue on how to balance my time in the future (I'm still a student tho).

@McSinyx I don't think I have much to offer in terms of an example work/hobby balance. I'm unemployed and my potential job pool is very small due to physical limitations. Fortunately, I have a family that supports my lifestyle. For what it's worth, open source software has been a nice way to "give back" to the world.

From what I hear, being a student is the next best thing when it comes to available time for personal projects. So take advantage of it while you can.

I'm so sorry. But definitely, your passionate work give me hope and faith in FLOSS.

I can confirm this, many days we only study in the morning and have the rest for self-learning and exploration. We even have a thing call summer time! I just really hope that this situation stays when I need to provide for myself. Or better, get employed for developing free software.

Thank you for the discussion and have a good weekend! And may the moon give you great health (it's moon festival here in my country 🌝)!
