This is heavily influenced by the socket.io example for Union, but figuring out that the server property of flatiron.app exists, yet alone doesn't show up until you *.start() was somewhat of a pain.

Hopefully this prevents any further confusion.

Hah, okay it's done... in about 3 more commits then I would have liked. I shouldn't have used the github editor.
