This seems to have been fixed by #3482. At least, I can no longer reproduce it. |
I can reproduce this again, so reopening. I think it was re-introduced by 6deb23a since it goes away if I revert that. |

This reverts commit 6deb23a. This commit has two unintended side effects: 1. It breaks progress bars (flatpak#3448) 2. It causes us not to use static deltas

Just run
flatpak install flathub io.neovim.nvim
