Add a space after each word when gesture typing

This is a feature that drove me back to the GBoard because I was so used to it - having the keyboard automatically add a space, so that when you need to end a sentence you just press space again to add a period. I do feel it should be should be configurable in the settings but opt-out by default since this is how the majority of existing gesture typing keyboards work and it is not a privacy or data concern.

What version are you using? I'm on 0.3.16 and this is how it already works for me.

I am also on 0.3.16 and it does not work for me. Is this a setting I am missing?

Same. I switched back to my previous keyboard because this feature is missing. (I'm on version 0.3.16(86) ) I looked at the settings but could not find anything to toggle this on.

Would love to continue testing this once this feature is available.
