I needed an enhanced threshold plugin: color values below AND above a
certain value and give those outliers different colors. This is an
extension of the use case mentioned in issue 252.

Attached is a modified jquery.flot.threshold.js that supports this.
I have also made sure this works with bars.

series: {
threshold: {
above: {
limit: number,
color: colorspec
}
below: {
limit: number,
color: colorspec
}
}
}

This is a nice idea as this funtionality would be useful. I seem to get straight points drawn accross my 'above' threshold though during use.

In case it's any help, you can give the effect of above and below thresholds by drawing the same line twice on top of each other.

Thank's for this patch. However, I've the same problem that the guy in comment #1.
In attachment an example to reproduce the bug.
