Trying again on the pull request...cancelled the previous one for the wrong branch.
FlowDock kicks ass, but we need to be able to write to streams/chats from behind our proxy. Would love to get this sucka upstream so we don't have to maintain another gem.

Actually, you should be able to use a proxy without changing the gem code by putting this line in your application configuration (before using the Flowdock gem):
Flowdock::Flow.http_proxy "host", "port"
