Is there a reason why we're using the nocookie site instead of the full YouTube site?

It was an option from youtube. It's supposed to not track the user unless they actually watch the video, or something like that.

Propose to remove this link since it's not showing us anything about the National Summit on Accessibility (which you will eventually find after scrolling way down in https://tbs.iidexcanada.com/conference/seminars2016#Wednesday)

I think it's still useful to find the information, even though they unfortunately no longer direct link. Perhaps there is a way to better represent the link. Any thoughts?

In that case, a more descriptive link would be better. Something like:

The IDRC participated in the IIDEX National Summit on Accessibility on November 30th, 2016 (2016 IIDEX Seminar Schedule).

That way a visitor will know exactly where the link will take them.

This link leads to an error page and there are no replacement links available for the webinars section of the website. I propose to just remove this link altogether and leave the http://www.openeducationweek.org/ up instead.

We have recently published a beta of <a href="https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ui-options-plus-uio+/okenndailhmikjjfcnmolpaefecbpaek">User Interface Options Plus (UIO+)</a> to the Chrome Web Store.
UIO+ is a new tool to enable the personalization experience of UI Options as a browser extension.
Preferences can be set via the UIO+ adjuster panel or, if on a <a href="https://gpii.net/">GPII (Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure)</a> enabled machine, from a keyed in preference set.

Some of this comes across a bit awkward for me. "For example, if the contrast of this page isn't quite right, you can use the tab at the top to modify how things are displayed. But what do you do when you are on a site that doesn't incorporate UI Options or other personalization methods?"

Could this be better?

"Currently to provide such customizations, the web page needs to incorporate the UI Options widget into the site's markup. However, not every site will have UI Options or site personalizations incorporated - how will a visitor with specific needs and preferences manage?

UI Options+ aims to address this issue by enabling the personalization experience of UI Options as a browser extension. Preferences can be set via the UIO+ adjuster panel or, if on a GPII (Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure) enabled machine, from a keyed in preference set.

We have recently published a beta of User Interface Options Plus (UIO+) to the Chrome Web Store."

UIO+ is still early in development. We aim to improve/expand preference options and, in the future, support additional browsers.

"show-hide" and "reset" are being used twice and this is caught by the validator. Should we think about renaming these ids in UIO?

Thanks for catching this. Actually they shouldn't be there at all. I'll remove them from all of the pages.

I'd recommend flipping this sentence with the previous one—tell the reader what UI Options Plus is, then tell them you've published a beta of it.

Is this link correct? It seems to be pointing to a file called 2017-07-19-inclusive-science-lab.html, but shouldn't it link to 2018-01-31-uioPlus.html?

Instead of two paragraphs, we can condense this into one paragraph:

"User Interface Options Plus (UIO+) aims to address the portability of web content personalization by enabling the experience of UI Options as a browser extension. Preferences can be set via the UIO+ adjuster panel or, if on a GPII (Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure) enabled machine, from a keyed in preference set."
