iterate on the new project wizard #1262
Description
Ideas from #1232:
- experiment with using a dropdown list (instead of radio buttons) for the project type (and default to an application project); this may help in presenting fewer choices to the user initially
- remove the option to create a driver test?
- there may be some layout tweaks, in terms of making the doc section at the end slighty wider
