I don't know if it is possible right now, but it would be great if flutter had the capabilities of decoding an image progressivly instead of baseline if the image supports it.

This article describes how to achieve something similar and there is the third party progressive_image package.

Labeling this as a new feature request for a framework or first-party solution.
