iirc FDs are also automatically activated on take off trust engagement aka FLX or TOGA.

I'm up to now only aware of the automatic engagement on go around, not during take-off. The engagement for go-around has been implemented on experimental version already.

The engagement after power-up is correct and should be there but is not implemented yet.

With the latest dev version the flight directors are now engaged when the FCU is powered on.

No simulation of the start procedure of the FCU yet.

It turned also out that engagement of flight directors is bound to FMGC power-up and not FCU.
