Description:

DataFlasks is a key-value data store built solely based on gossip-based protocols. It leverages the inherent characteristics of such protocols to be able to provide data persistence guarantees even in highly dynamic, massive scale systems.

About:

Currently, DataFlasks runs over the Minha framework - http://www.minha.pt (Google Faculty Research Award). The core components of DataFlasks are also ready to run in a real deployment, however at the moment they require a bootstart server. Resolving this issue is ongoing work.

Requirements

Minha

www.minha.pt

YCSB (v. 0.1.4)

https://github.com/brianfrankcooper/YCSB

Build

Maven install Minha and YCSB in a folder named "repo" in the project directory. mvn package

Configuration

Folder 'config' holds the configuration file. These should be the only place where you would need to tune DataFlasks.

Usage

  1. Run "./runDataFlasks.sh
