Can we set a class name through options? Other ui's have that option.

You could use "transferClasses" option or use the widget method to modify generated elements like every other jQuery UI Widget does.

Sorry, I didn't see an option called "transferClasses" in the documentation. Could you elaborate on its usage?

Thanks. It's description says: "Transfer classes from select". I still don't understand. Could you explain?

The option transfers all (CSS) classes from the original select to the generated one.

When transferClasses option is enabled all classes set for the original, native select will be transfered to the generated menu. So ... will result in ...

Please note that this option has been removed some time ago and is no longer available in the latest versions, see #229
