Build fails with --disable-shared #479

After giving the --disable-shared option to configure, build fails during the linking of pyhook/ This is after it successfully builds a static "fontforge" binary; it appears that the python hook submake doesn't get the memo that shared libraries are disabled, and tries to build one.
