On IOS device you can create shortcut of webpage directly on the sprintboard...

By default the shortcut open safari and lunch the url...
But if the webpage have this meta, Ios doesn't shot the safari UI, and the website look like native app.

<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes">

So can you add this meta ?

No, because it has undocumented side effects that break cookie handling and login functionality.

Ho, ok... i didn't know this "bug" about cookie ...

The cookie is used only for login ?

For the whole login session. As in, no cookie, no way to authenticate and hence no way to use.
