Right now following config files are read and have decreasing precedence:

  1. /usr/local/etc/raspiBackup.conf
  2. ~/.raspiBackup.conf
  3. $(pwd)/.raspiBackup.conf

Highest precedence have invocation options. Another config file should be read when specified in option -f which has highest precedence.

Final config precedence (low to high)

  1. /usr/local/etc/raspiBackup.conf
  2. ~/.raspiBackup.conf
  3. $(pwd)/.raspiBackup.conf
  4. -f <configFile> option
  5. Invocation options

Development branch contains this feature now. Feel free to test the -f option 😄
