VMT Self-Installer not seeing MCR v9.0 (r2015b) during setup, and will not allow installation

This issue raised by cees-meijer on this WMA Forums post (authentication required to view).

The user was unable to install VMT v4.08, since the self-installer did not detect the correct MCR version. User has verified that the correct registry keys and Environmental Path variables are present.

I sent the user a ZIP archive containing VMT v4.08 without the self installer. When the user ran VMT.exe, it still crashed. The reply from the user:

The .exe still did not solve the issue, but this time I got an error that showed me the problem:
'Attempting to load mclmcrrt9_0.dll'
And the Matlab site shows the solution to this: the path to the 64 bit runtime folder should be added to the %PATH%variable.

After I did this, the program starts fine.

For some reason, the MCR installation process did not modify the user's %PATH% variable correctly.

I think the best approach for VMT is to allow the self-installer to continue the installation, even if the MCR is not present, and present the user with a warning.

I have changed the self-installer to allow users to still install VMT in the case that the MCR was not detected. The installer still allows the user to chose to download the MCR if desired.
