Bug fix with dependencies
Fixed bug #2
that was due to an external library (originally placed in a "libs" folder before version 1.3.2) that had been removed and wasn't needed anymore.
Both the script and the README file have been updated and everything should now work as expected.
FX Textframe early 2026 improvement
-
"Shape" mode is now the default instead of the "Mask" mode, because Shapes' path expressions are way lighter and faster to compute than Masks' path expressions
-
New Out animation shortcuts ;
- Hold down the "ALT" key on the "Create single FX Textframe line" button in order to change the animation from In to Out (the Frame will then disappear instead of appearing).
- Hold down both the "ALT" and the "SHIFT" keys will keep the In animation as it is by default, plus it will also add an Out animation, with 2 additionnal keyframes in the "Animation keyframes" that go from 100% to 0%, and 2 other keyframes in the "Flip Direction" that takes the direction into account, for a better motion flow (for instance ; if the In animation was from opening from left to right, the Out closing animation will then go from Left to Right as well, which is more pleasing and logical most of the time and gives a feeling of flowing continuity)
-
The effect called "FX Multiline TextFrame" that is applied to the "CTRL FX TextFrame" Null layer (when you create a Multiline setup with the "Setup multiline FX TxtFr" button from the 2nd tab of the UI) has been improved :
- You can now animate the horizontal alignement from left to right thanks to a new "Lines Horizontal Alignement" slider that replaces the old "Text Lines Alignement" menu. Just put -100% to justify the lines on the left, 0% to center them, and 100% to justify them on the right. If you hide the Frames (the Shape layers if you have used the Shape Mode for instance), you can give the illusion that a paragraph has its alignement animated in a fluid way, which isn't possible normally!
- You can set the Margin X for all the Lines at the same time by using the new "Frames Margins X" slider (set it to 0 if you want to animate the horizontal alignement as described above)
- The last "Multi Opening Direction" menu can now be animated with keyframes, so you can - for example - change the direction between an In and an Out animation
-
