RAML (http://raml.org/) is a YAML-based mark up language for describing a REST API, with it we should be able to create a REST API against any RESTful service using its RAML spec.

Do you know any API that uses it? There's no list on their website

As in any public API that exposes a RAML spec for its API? I don't know of any, but from this blog post it seems SoapUI has now a plugin for RAML (http://olensmar.blogspot.com.ar/2013/12/a-raml-apihub-plugin-for-soapui.html) and you can use APIhub (http://www.apihub.com/) to create RAML spec for any REST API you know.

For example, here's RAML spec for the twitter API that the APIhub guys have put together : http://www.apihub.com/twitter/api/twitter-rest-api/twitter-rest-api.raml

If the type provider automatically generated types for calling Twitter APIs, that would be pretty awesome!
