Description
Describe the issue
When new settings are registered, they are not added to the main settings.json file for storage. So any references to the new setting will be null and will result in an error when a value is attempted to be saved.
To reproduce
Register a new setting after the CMS has been installed, and try to reference/save a value to that setting.
Expected behavior
There should be a default value specified with the setting. When its referenced, it should simply refer to the default. When saving a value, it should create the setting within the stored settings.json file with the desired value.
