Autoptimize itself is slow? #264

Look at slow response time of the server. Reviewing new relic details...
Seems like it's adding 1 sec+ just processing the code

No CDN. cos the server has global cdn.

also no image optimization and critical css is off for now

Just had a good look at the 1st image you uploaded; the fact that the autoptimizeCache::check() and autoptimizeCache::retrieve() functions are (incredibly) slow indicates I/O issues (read), as those functions are very pretty straightforward wrappers around file_exists and file_get_contents.
