UpShot works great for full screen shots, but doesn't seem to work for screen clips. It would be great if these images could optionally be tossed into Dropbox, too.

These work great:

Command-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it as a file on the desktop
Command-Shift-4, then space, then click a window: Take a screenshot of a window and save it as a file on the desktop

This does not:

Command-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it as a file on the desktop

Command-Shift-4, then select an area is very often used.

Oh, I was unaware that that doesn't work. It's unintentional. Thanks for the bug report, I will look into it!

I fixed the bug and uploaded a bugfix release 0.9.1 to the download section feel free to download it from there and install!!

Sorry for the inconvenience! Also, there is no automatic updater yet, that's Issue #14.

Installed 0.9.1 and Command-Shift-4 works great on OSX 10.8.2. Thanks Fred!
