HPSDR-MIDI is a custom MIDI controller for HPSDR radios.
It uses an Arduino Due as the processor.
There are 7 encoders (with switches). One of the encoders is designed to be the VFO so uses one without indents.
There are 28 push button switches and an additional switch with an LED that is used as a 'Shift' button so that all the encoders and switches and have dual uses.
There are 2 3.5mm stereo connectors that will allow a foot switch and a CW paddle to be connected to the controller.
The PCB includes pads for pull up resistors, but they are not required as the Arduino Due has internal pull up resistors that are enabled in the sketch.
All 7 encoders and 28 switches can be configured in the application software in addition to the external foot switch and CW paddle.
It has currently been tested with piHPSDR, linHPSDR.
A simple 2 layer PCB has been designed and the Gerber files to manufacture it are included. The board is designed to fit a Hammond 1455P2201 series enclosure.
