EM-Mongo

An EventMachine client for MongoDB. Originally based on RMongo. This client aims to be as api compatible with mongo-ruby-driver as possible.

Examples

require 'em-mongo'

EM.run do
  db = EM::Mongo::Connection.new.db('db')
  collection = db.collection('test')
  EM.next_tick do
    hash = collection.insert(Hash.new)
    found = collection.find('_id' => hash['_id']) do |res|
      puts res.inspect
      EM.stop
    end
    collection.remove(hash)
  end
end

Todo

  1. Refactor unit tests and make them more comprehensive

  2. collection.index

  3. Server side aggregate functions (reference)
